YOGA BIO

Rachelle is a Los Angeles based yoga instructor, community leader, and entrepreneur. Her inspiration is drawn from growing up in upstate NY, with a love for nature, helping others, vintage treasures, and a desire to honor the legacy of her mother, who passed away when she was little. It as been the practice of yoga that continues to provide healing to her heart, body and soul.

She shares yoga from a very intentional place, offering her students an opportunity to fall back in love with their body and their life through her creative way of teaching. Rachelle is also known for her thoughtfully curated playlists, full of various DJ’s, soulful beats with a whole lot of rhythm to make her yoga classes a true experience for the mind, body and soul.

Rachelle created The Neshama Project, a yoga inspired, socially conscious jewelry company that gives back, as an extension of all that she believes in.

With a constant appetite for travel and meaningful experiences, Rachelle leads adventures around the world with workshops and international yoga retreats. And her newest adventure to embark on is, graduate school for clinical psychology.

When asked recently, “why after 10 years do still teach yoga?”

Rachelle, responded “As Maya Angelou once said, ‘when you learn, teach. and when you get, give.’ I personally get more out of teaching than anything. It is my own form of service work. I will always teach in some capacity. Teaching is my breath, my lifeline, my true north, constantly keeping me in integrity and practicing what I preach. And, honestly, it’s so much fun!”
